DP Central and Onsen Spa is a brand new $6 million facility located in Dinner Plain. It was officially opened to the public on the 1st of July 2006.

Superbly crafted from an innovative architechtural design, the multi-purpose venue comprises:

Onsen Retreat and Spa

Onsen Retreat and Spa is a fabulous new facility located inside the DP Central building. Known as Onsen for short, it has four main components - the Japanese inspired onsen spa, the day spa, the lap pool and the gymnasium. Onsen Reteat & Spa is open year round.

Japansese inspired onsen 

An onsen is a heated bathing facility which is a popular pastime in Japan, used for centuries as a therapeutic and relaxation technique. According to tradition, the water must be pure and come from the earth where its healing qualities are most potent.

Dinner Plain is renowned for its natural spring water, which is regarded as some of the best water in Australia. The water comes from a deep aquifer and is filtered through some 60 metres of decomposed granite rock. It is used exclusively throughout the spa, offering visitors an invigorating and therapeutic experience.

Massage and Beauty Treatments

Complete with 5 treatment rooms, the Day Spa is also part of Onsen. Perfect for a start to the day or a wind down after a day on the slopes, the facility is staffed by fully qualified massage and beauty therapists offering a comprehensive range of treatments, from remedial massage and warm rock therapy to facials, body wraps and reiki.

How to visit
